One Common, is an energetic and lively Electronic/Pop Christian brother duo with a youthful sound appealing to the rising generation while also attracting older generation alike . One Common’s style promotes the joy they have in Christ. Each show’s purpose is to glorify the goodness of God through fun, energetic and moving music. One Common is comprised of 2 brothers – Carlos & Michael. As a family, One Common has an unique bond and ability to create music with uplifting and God glorifying lyrics that inspire others to let go of all they think they are, for all Christ is making them to be.
The brothers have had a gifting in music from an early age. What started as singing their feelings as toddlers grew into a more profound outlet for not only expressing their personal journeys through music but expressing the irreplaceable love they have for Christ Jesus.
It was early 2016 when then their dad presented an idea that changed everything: he felt the Lord calling their family to take a leap of faith and minister through music across the country. So their family sold everything, from their house to their knickknacks, crammed into an RV, and hit the road to spread the Gospel, with no set destination in mind. Only one purpose: to bring the love & truth of Jesus to as many people as they could.
This kicks off their story as Contemporary Christian music duo, One Common. Previously performing along side their sisters, they traveled from state to state, sometimes without booked performances, finding any opportunity to offer messages of hope through their music.
One Common has now had the opportunity to land a lineup of shows across the nation playing along side some of Christian music’s biggest names: Zach Williams, Unspoken, CAIN, Capital Kings, Kutless, Tedashii, Travis Greene, Cade Thompson.
Through this experience, they not only grew in their faith, but developed their own musical style which would best be described as synth-pop with future bass and dance influences. With infectious anthems and earnest lyrics, each performances serves as a celebration of God’s glory and a testament to His faithfulness. One Common exudes a unique, unforgettable spirit through each songs, proving the best plans for our lives aren’t ones we can map ourselves.
One Common, now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. They have also seen huge success online, where their music has earned over 3 million streams to date.
